Wing Chun Kung Fu (Personal Training)

I offer Personal training sessions in Wing Chun one-on-one, or you can bring a friend to train with whilst I guide your training. These personal training sessions can be tailored more to you, your goals and what you want to accomplish, or you can follow the black belt curriculum. Personal training following the curriculum allows us to go at your own pace and advance only when you feel ready to do so.

Wing Chun Kung-Fu is a medium to close-range self-defence system that allows the practitioner to use destructive weapons such as punches, knees, elbows, finger thrusts, throws and joint locks.

Wing Chun Kung Fu is also a self-defence system for use on our internal mental and spiritual systems, hidden opponents that can hold us back in life. As you progress in Wing Chun, you will realise it is based on simplicity, direct movement and economy of motion, using less strength and more natural body movement to develop power, speed and efficiency.

Studying this martial arts system can significantly improve your knowledge of the body, balance, mental cognition, and overall strength and fitness of the practitioner. Wing Chun is an ancient Chinese martial art system that utilises redirection and manipulation of an opponent’s force against themselves. The system was originally developed by a Shaolin nun and taught practitioners how to fight against a larger and stronger opponent effectively.

Wing Chun Kung Fu is a well-rounded practical martial art system, including an ancient Chinese internal self-defence system. With disciplined practise, a practitioner can also improve their mental, physical and spiritual awareness and well-being.

Lessons in Wing Chun are taught in a personal training format with the practitioner or as a small group.
