Service Update: Potential temporary disruption to online sessions.

I want to let all clients know about a possible risk to online sessions over the coming weeks. This is simply to allow you time to plan ahead.

Why I’m sharing this

Because of current tensions in the Middle East, there is a small chance that a wider escalation could damage some of the undersea cables that carry international internet traffic. My practice runs online and depends on international networks and digital services. Damage to these cables could seriously affect connection quality and reliability.

What this could mean for your sessions

It’s quite possible this will have no effect at all. In the worst case, though, I may have to cancel sessions for about 3 to 7 days while I switch over to an alternative internet provider.

My diary is already very full for the coming weeks, so I can't reschedule every affected session. I’m sorry about that, and I’ll try to keep any disruption as small as possible.

What you can do

  • Book your sessions well in advance. This is the best way to protect your place and keep continuity in your therapy.

  • Keep your contact details up to date so I can reach you quickly if something changes.

  • Check your email before any scheduled session if you hear of major disruption in the news.

If disruption happens

I’ll contact affected clients directly by email as soon as possible. If I have to cancel a session, you’ll receive either a full refund or a credit to your account, so you won’t lose out.

If you are in crisis or need urgent support while sessions are paused, don't hesitate to contact your GP, call NHS 111, or ring Samaritans free on 116 123, anytime, day or night.

A note for international clients

If you live outside the UK, disruption to international internet cables may also affect your own connection, depending on where you are. Please allow for this when planning your sessions, and make sure the email address I have for you is one you can reach reliably.

The UK support services listed above may not be available to you. If you need urgent help while sessions are paused, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country. You can find free, confidential helplines worldwide at findahelpline.com.

All session times are confirmed in UK time, so please double-check how this converts to your local time, especially around daylight saving changes.

Thank you for your understanding & please get in touch if you have any questions.
