I am pleased to inform you of some changes to the services my practise offers, which may be helpful to you and we work together.

New: Free Brief Therapy Session Notes.

I have now started providing Brief Therapy Session Notes to both adults and children. These are brief written descriptions of your personal therapy sessions, usually provided within 24 hours.

The Brief Adult Therapy Session Note provides a comparable service to adults undergoing continuous psychological therapy or counselling. It provides a concise overview of the session, the themes that came up, and any observations.

The Brief Child Therapy Session Note is designed to capture the gist of a child therapy session using the words and ideas common to child therapy. Whether through play, creative expression, or discussion, this note provides a clear overview that is easy for parents, carers, or other professionals involved to understand.

These short notes may be especially useful for clients who are sometimes unable to remember the details of a session later. Severe, intense work in a therapy session can put us in an elevated or emotionally charged condition, and it is quite normal that certain material will feel cloudy once we get back to normal life. A written recap will help you find time to revisit the session on your own, facilitating reflection and integration between appointments. These notes may also serve as a valuable guide for your current treatment process for those struggling with memory issues of any type.

Update: External Providers Detailed Reports.

As most of you will be aware, I present more detailed reports for use by other service providers, including GPs, schools, employers, and legal professionals. These in-depth reports require significant time and attention to prepare, and a production fee will be charged in future to reflect this. If you need a detailed report, contact me to discuss your needs and costs.
